DAY 1: PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

• Arrive at Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport.
• Once you have cleared immigration and customs walk to the Domestic Terminal (a 5-minute walk) to catch a scheduled domestic flight to Hoedspruit Airport, a 60 minute flight.
• On arrival at the airport you will be met and be transferred by vehicle to the lodge (a 90 minute drive), assisted with check-in and shown to your luxury chalet.
• Enjoy your first safari experience on an evening game drive.

DAY 2: PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

• The day at leisure to partake in the early morning game drive, a bush walking excursion with an armed ranger and the evening game drive. In between these activities enjoy some relaxing time.

DAY 3: PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

• The day at leisure to partake in the early morning game drive, a bush walking excursion with an armed ranger and the evening game drive. In between these activities enjoy some relaxing time.

DAY 4: CAPE TOWN

• This morning after your early morning game viewing activity and breakfast you will be transferred to Hoedspruit Airport. From Hoedspruit catch a scheduled flight directly to Cape Town, a 2½ hour flight.
• On arrival in Cape Town and once you have collected your baggage you will be met and be transferred by private vehicle to your hotel.
• The remainder of the day at leisure.

DAY 5: CAPE TOWN

• The day at leisure to relax or to explore this beautiful city. Possibly take a trip by cable car up Table Mountain and visit Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned.

DAY 6: CAPE TOWN

• You will be collected from your hotel at 08h00 and be taken on a full day private tour of the Cape Peninsula.
• Highlights of your tour will include a visit to the fishing village of Hout Bay (optional opportunity of doing an hour’s boat trip out to Seal Island) followed by a scenic drive along Chapmans Peak to visit to the Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point. After a stop for lunch at one of the popular local restaurants in the area (lunch for your own account), you visit Boulders Penguin Colony (for own account) followed by a drive through the pretty naval village of Simonstown heading over the scenic Boyes Drive (from July to November you can see whales from this vantage point) to visit the world famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Return to your hotel at around 5pm.

DAY 7: CAPE TOWN

• Today you will be taken on a full day private tour of the Cape Winelands. You will be collected from your hotel at 8:30am. Highlights of your tour will include a visit to the town of Paarl, the village of Franschhoek and to the historical town of Stellenbosch visiting three wine estates en-route for wine tasting and a cellar tour at one of them. Stop for lunch at a popular restaurant (lunch for your own account). Return to your hotel at around 5pm.

DAY 8: OKAVANGO DELTA, BOTSWANA

• Early this morning you will be collected from your hotel and be transferred to the airport.
• Catch a scheduled flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg where you connect with a scheduled flight to Maun in Botswana.
• Upon arrival in Maun and once you have cleared immigration and customs you will be met, introduced to your pilot who will then transfer you by light aircraft to your lodge in the Okavango Delta.
• This evening enjoy one of the game viewing activities on offer.

DAY 9: OKAVANGO DELTA, BOTSWANA

• The day at leisure to partake in the early morning game drive and the evening game drive and/or waterborne activities by motorboat or by dugout canoe, known as a mokoro. In between these activities enjoy some relaxing time.

Overnight: CAMP XAKANAXA inclusive of luxury African tented accommodation, all meals, all beverages and all game viewing activities.

 

DAY 10: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK, BOTSWANA

• After your early morning safari and breakfast you will be collected and be transferred by light aircraft to Kasane from where you will be collected and be transferred by vehicle to Chobe Game Lodge.
• This evening enjoy one of the game viewing activities on offer.

Overnight: CHOBE GAME LODGE inclusive of luxury accommodation, all meals, all beverages and all game viewing activities.

 

DAY 11: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK, BOTSWANA

• The day at Chobe Game Lodge relaxing and partaking in the various game viewing activities, either a game drive or game viewing by boat.

Overnight: CHOBE GAME LODGE inclusive of luxury accommodation, all meals, all beverages and all game viewing activities.

 

DAY 12: VICTORIA FALLS

• This morning after your early morning safari and breakfast you will be collected and be transferred by vehicle to Victoria Falls, a drive of about 90 minutes passing through both Botswana and Zimbabwe border posts.
• Late this afternoon you will be collected from your hotel and be transferred to the Zambezi River for a sundowner cruise. This must rate as one of the best sunsets in the world with elephants and other animals at the water’s edge as a backdrop to the sunset.
• After your sundowner cruise you will be transferred back to your hotel.
• Dinner at MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant.

Overnight: THE VICTORIA FALLS SAFARI LODGE in a standard luxury room on a bed and breakfast basis.

 

DAY 13: VICTORIA FALLS

• Use today to visit the famous Victoria Falls for a guided walking tour.
• Spend some time visiting the quaint town of Victoria Falls or doing one of the many adventures (white water rafting, bungi jumping, flight over the Falls, having afternoon tea at the famous Victoria Falls Hotel and much more).
• Dinner at The Boma with courtesy return shuttle service.

Overnight: THE VICTORIA FALLS SAFARI LODGE in a standard luxury room on a bed and breakfast basis.

 

DAY 14: HOMEWARD BOUND

• The morning at leisure before being collected and being transferred to the airport.
• Catch a scheduled flight from Victoria Falls to Johannesburg.
• From Johannesburg catch your international flight home.
