DAY 1: PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

• Arrive at Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport.
• Once you have cleared immigration and customs walk to the Domestic Terminal (a 5-minute walk) to catch a scheduled domestic flight to Hoedspruit Airport, a 60 minute flight.
• On arrival at the airport you will be met and be transferred by vehicle to the lodge (a 90 minute drive), assisted with check-in and shown to your luxury chalet.
• Enjoy your first safari experience on an evening game drive.

Overnight: NGALA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE inclusive of luxury accommodation, all meals, beverages and game viewing activities.

DAY 2: PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

• The day at leisure to partake in the early morning game drive, a bush walking excursion with an armed ranger and the evening game drive. In between these activities enjoy some relaxing time.

DAY 3: PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

• The day at leisure to partake in the early morning game drive, a bush walking excursion with an armed ranger and the evening game drive. In between these activities enjoy some relaxing time.

DAY 4: CAPE TOWN

• This morning after your early morning game viewing activity and breakfast you will be transferred to Hoedspruit Airport. From Hoedspruit catch a scheduled flight directly to Cape Town, a 2½ hour flight.
• On arrival in Cape Town and once you have collected your baggage you will be met and be transferred by private vehicle to your hotel.
• The remainder of the day at leisure.

Overnight: THE TABLE BAY HOTEL in a standard luxury room on a bed and breakfast basis.

DAY 5: CAPE TOWN

• The day at leisure to relax or to explore this beautiful city. Possibly take a trip by cable car up Table Mountain and visit Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned.

Overnight: THE TABLE BAY HOTEL in a standard luxury room on a bed and breakfast basis.

DAY 6: CAPE TOWN

• You will be collected from your hotel at 08h00 and be taken on a full day private tour of the Cape Peninsula.
• Highlights of your tour will include a visit to the fishing village of Hout Bay (optional opportunity of doing an hour’s boat trip out to Seal Island) followed by a scenic drive along Chapmans Peak to visit to the Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point. After a stop for lunch at one of the popular local restaurants in the area (lunch for your own account), you visit Boulders Penguin Colony (for own account) followed by a drive through the pretty naval village of Simonstown heading over the scenic Boyes Drive (from July to November you can see whales from this vantage point) to visit the world famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Return to your hotel at around 5pm.

DAY 7: CAPE WINELANDS

• Today you will be taken on a full day private tour of the Cape Winelands. You will be collected from your hotel at 10:00am. Highlights of your tour will include a visit to the town of Paarl and the historical town of Stellenbosch visiting two wine estates en-route for wine tasting and a cellar tour at one of them. Stop for lunch at a popular restaurant (lunch for your own account). You will be dropped-off at your hotel in the winelands.

Overnight: AKADEMIE STREET BOUTIQUE HOTEL in a luxury suite with private courtyard and plunge pool inclusive of breakfast, afternoon tea and pre-dinner drinks.

DAY 8: CAPE WINELANDS

• The day at leisure to relax in the privacy of your suite or to explore the interesting and quaint village of Franschhoek, home to 8 of South Africa’s top 100 resturants and home to beautiful wine estates, most accessible on the Franschhoek Wine Tram.

Overnight: AKADEMIE STREET BOUTIQUE HOTEL in a luxury suite with private courtyard and plunge pool inclusive of breakfast, afternoon tea and pre-dinner drinks.

DAY 9: MAURITIUS

• Early this morning you will be collected from your hotel and be transferred to Cape Town International Airport by private vehicle.
• From Cape Town catch a scheduled flight to Mauritius. On arrival in Mauritius and once you have cleared immigration and customs you will be met and be transferred to your hotel.

Overnight: 7 nights at the 5-star TROU AUX BICHES BEACHCOMBER GOLF RESORT & SPA on a fully inclusive basis.

DAY 16: HOMEWARD BOUND

• The morning at leisure before being collected and being transferred to the airport.
• Catch a scheduled flight from Mauritius en-route home.
